At S'mores and Meeples Board Game Camp you can relax. Avoid the skyrocketing hotel room costs and food vendors that want to charge you five bucks for a soda. The lodging is affordable and you can bring your own snacks! We want you to know that you can have an enjoyable and affordable vacation experience involving board games! Camping and board games is a match made in heaven because they are both enjoyed best with family and great friends. Camping with us includes an event badge, T-shirt, swag, and even a meal! Bring your own games to share with others or sit down for a few game demos. There is no rigid schedule here. Try out the activities the campgrounds has to offer or play games with us in the lodge. You may not see ALL of your favorite game publishers represented here at camp, but we work really hard with our sponsors to bring you a great experience. The campground is able to accommodate campers of all types. Whether you prefer a sleeping bag and tent or a luxurious cabin, kick back and enjoy a weekend along the Brandywine. Your gaming adventure starts here!
Important: Availability of lodging does not indicate available badges. KOA reservations do not include badge registration and entry is not granted without a badge.
Attending this fun-filled weekend will require two steps. Your site/lodging reservations are to be made directly with the camp. Event registration will be handled through this site.
(Step 1) Accommodations
First, contact KOA West Chester to book your site.
Rates are based on 4 people (2 Adults/2 Children).
Extra camper charges apply.
Basic primitive tent sites start at $44/night
One room cabins start at $75/night
Popup Sites 30AMP start at $62/night
You can use the online registration if you don’t have a site preference. If you do, I recommend you call direct to reserve. (Cabins now require 2 night deposit) – Be sure to state you are with the S’mores and Meeples Group when you are calling or note it in the special instructions section of your online reservation.
**Please note, there are no blocked sites for this event and reservations are not held without deposit. If you plan on attending, I recommend you make your deposit as soon as possible.**
Please be courteous to other guests and please do NOT pre-book a site unless you are ready to register for the event.
Once you have registered for the campsite of your choosing, you will receive an e-mail from the campground with a Confirmation Code. Please have this available for your Meeple Registration.
Great, you’re on your way to full registration!
(Step 2) Meeple Registration
This is the actual “event” cost, which will include your goodies and costs related to the use of the campground lodge for gameplay! **Important Disclaimer** - Booking your KOA Site does not guarantee your badge registration. In order to attend S'mores & Meeples event, you must secure your badge.
Meeple Registration is required for every attendee (adult and youth) and I recommend handling all registrations for your site at the same time.
If you have a group that requires two sites, complete each group separately for the number of campers you will have registered at each site.
Registration A – 3 meeples – Include confirmation number for Site A
Registration B – 4 meeples – Include confirmation number for Site B
Early Bird pricing will be available this year and will only be applicable to campers for the first week of registration. Exceptions cannot be made once regular pricing goes into effect.
Day Visitor Registration will open July 1st. This is to ensure we can accommodate all registrants who will be staying on-site.
Should you need any special accomodations for this event (dietary, physical etc), please contact me as soon as possible so I can work with you. There is a decent incline/decline where the Riverfront Tent and PopUp sites are so if you have trouble walking or need easy access to restrooms I highly recommend staying near the Office/Shop/Lodge. However, these sites are limited and are best reserved as soon as possible.
The Pool will be closed after Labor Day.
A relaxed schedule will be provided.
Please refer to our cancellation policy HERE– it is handled separately from the campgrounds policy.
The fine print. Be respectful of other attendees, non-event campers, and follow the campgrounds policies, e.g quiet time, trash, campfires, alcohol, and the supervision of children. Leave any valuables at home or locked up when unattended. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items and you assume any risk associated with camping activities. Violation of policies may result in removal without refunds. By registering you confirm you have read and agree to the event information.
